"It wasn’t me. You have to believe me." Grace James stared at those in the car stubbornly. The heavy rain was pouring down. The windows were wet from the rain, but she could vaguely see the stern face in the car. Grace stood outside the car, shaking. Through the window, she shouted loudly, “Caden Shaw! At least listen to my explanation.” The car door suddenly opened. Before Grace could rejoice, she was dragged by a huge force. She crashed into the car and collided with it. Her dry white shirt instantly became wet. “Caden, those gangsters who injured Wallis Venus were not prepared by me…” Grace said. A slender, powerful finger pinched her chin mercilessly. Then, a magnetic and unique voice was heard above her head: “Do you like me that much?” The cold voice had a slight smell of tobacco, which belonged to his scent. “What?” Grace was a little confused. Everyone knew she liked him. Why was he suddenly asking this now? The man pinched Grace’s chin. He used his slender hand to reach towards her face. His fingers gently touched her rain-wet cheeks. Grace was almost immersed in his gentle eyes. She thought she heard the next sentence, in which the man asked her if she was cold.
